I had no electricity in my bedroom and bathroom, but Jose Nunez Gonzalez saved the day. He worked tirelessly to find the source of the problem and after locating it, he repaired it. The past few times I’ve had an issue or needed something repaired, Jose has taken care of it. He’s always cheerful, polite, and very respectful. I can’t speak highly enough about Jose’s skills and professionalism.

If I could give zero stars I would. The kindness and professionalism that you experience going in will evaporate once you sign on the dotted line. Pay your rent on time (or as was my case, weeks in advance) and you will be rewarded with a lack of routine maintenance, snarky comments, and a hefty rent increase. Have a problem in your apartment? Don’t expect a timely resolution, and please know you are NOT welcome to drop by the rental office to discuss. And please know, you WILL cover their cost of doing business when you leave. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

This apartment complex offers many amenities that seem appeasing. I moved here over one year ago and there’s been issue after issue. There was a leak in my ceiling that took weeks to fix, minor repairs such as changing a window screen to a month, and the appliances are outdated to name a few. I’ve requested the dryer to be assessed but they come, clean the vent, then leave. I rented a townhome style unit because it came with a parking space then, with no input from the residents, they changed it and required passes for a side in front of your garage. Finally, the rental office is appointment only so nothing happens in real time. The only positive is the private garage.

It’s been two weeks since I’ve officially moved in. I want to give out a hugeee shoutout to both, Ms.Porche & Ericka Tiller who’s been the most incredible, informative, helpful staff I’ve came across. Since day one both ladies has been extremely helpful. They’ve answered every question, every email, and every concern that i had. It’s been a lengthy process for me and although it’s was a lengthy process not once did Ms. Porche gave up, gotten annoyed or anything in that sort, she stayed consistent and gave it her all through the whole process. She was the highlight of my moving process I’ve never met such a great team as the Avalon Russt community. I just want to say they’re truly worth more than 5 stars. However i did notice once moving in there were little small problems such as poor modeling. I’ve decided to go with the classic townhomes, and although it’s the older model i didn’t expect lack of modeling. I believe it’s poorly model only because they were a few essential that weren’t working and rust. I was aware of short staffed on maintenance but maintenance has been on top of all concerns. Overall i give both ladies 10 stars and community a 4.5 star. Thanks for all your hard work! You guys are greatly appreciated and a true representation of a phenomenal team.

When I say amazing customer service and professionalism! I recently visited Avalon Russett in Laurel, Maryland and I would like to take this opportunity to first thank Porche Grant, Property Manager, for her outstanding customer service. She was very knowledgeable on the entire property and the surrounding area. Not to mention she had a very bubbly spirit and made you feel very comfortable entering the community. I was highly impressed by the way she communicated with me during the visit, you don’t usually find that when apartment searching. I would refer Avalon Russett to anyone that I know that’s apartment searching just because of how professional and kind she was. Avalon Russett has chosen the perfect Property Manager.
